The facility, which is being developed by Talega Medical Plaza LLC, will consist of 28,000-sf of medical office space. Designed by Irvine-based Ware Malcomb, the two-story building will rise at Avenida del Pico and Vista Hermosa. It has already been pre-leased by Saddleback Memorial Medical Center and San Clemente Medical Center.
Talega Medical Plaza is the second medical office project to get underway in Orange County in recent weeks. Construction has also begun on a 41,280-sf building in Laguna Woods, as reported last week by Globest.com. Newport Beach-based developer Mark IV Capitol is building a three-story facility that will consist of a steel frame, plaster exterior and concrete-tile mansard roof. The building, which is slated for a March 2002 completion, will rise on a 2.7-acre parcel located at 24331 El Toro Rd.
