SAN FRANCISCO-Michael Huaco, a senior-level real estate executive, has joined Insignia/ESG's San Francisco office as Managing Director.
Huaco has 15 years of experience in all facets of domestic and international corporate real estate. He was vice president and director of corporate real estate at Thomas Weisel Partners prior to joining Insignia/ESG. He also worked for Montgomery Securities, where he secured over 1 million sf of space in high profiles buildings throughout the U.S. and Europe, including the Transmerica Pyramid.
He has also held several key senior corporate real estate positions for Fortune 100 companies, such as Bank of America, DHL Worldwide Express, and Charles Schwab.
Huaco will serve Insignia/ESG by establishing new corporate real estate relationships with major Bay Area firms. He will also be responsible for implementing corporate real estate advisory assignments encompassing strategic planning, transaction management, portfolio administration, and space planning/design and project management.
