Teresa Larkins of the San Antonio office of Grubb& Ellis Co. represented the seller, Associated Acceptance Corp., and Rick Stagers, also of Grubb & Ellis, negotiated the deal for the buyer. The Backyard Store is moving its showroom to the larger location at 3419 Northeast Parkway. The assessed value of the site is $239,000, according to the Bexar County Appraisal District.

The Backyard Store is the retail division of Horizon Building Systems Inc. Horizon was founded in 1987 as a manufacturer of portable buildings and started selling retail patio furniture during the construction down turn of the early 1990s. It also operates a Web site for e-commerce trade.
