The property, which will operate as a Marriott franchise, is strategically located just a few miles from Charlotte/Douglas International airport and only one block from CBD. It is also within walking distance of Ericsson Stadium and Discovery Place Science Museum.
"In locations like Charlotte," says Crestline Chief Operating Officer Dave Durbin, "downtown limited-service hotels typically generate stronger financial returns to owners than full-service hotels in the same market. In addition, they are also usually less susceptible to downturns in the economy." The new 16-story hotel boasts a 24-hour business library, fitness center and 1,500 sf of meeting room space. Crestline manages more than 30 hotels, leases 91 hotels, and owns 31 senior living communities.
