310-Units of Housing Coming to Jack London Square

OAKLAND-SNK Development is working toward a December completion of the project, to be called Allegro at Jack London Square. The project will make a significant contribution to Mayor Jerry Brown's goal 10,000 new housing units Downtown.

OAKLAND-A new housing development is on schedule for a Dec. 1 opening in Oakland’s Jack London Square.

Allegro at Jack London Square will offer 310 units of new rental housing in the middle of Oakland’s downtown area. The project, which was designed by Sandy & Babcock International and developed by SNK Development, will make a significant contribution to Mayor Jerry Brown’s goal of adding 10,000 new housing units in the downtown area.

The project consists of three sites on adjacent corners in the Jack London Square area. The buildings are five and six stories, and combine a pedestrian scale with an industrial sensibility designed to fit the history and context of the surrounding waterfront neighborhood.
