PLYMOUTH, MI-The old Daisy Air Rifle property in this city’s Downtown. is gettinganother lease on life with a $31-million condominium project. Owner Colwell Inc. has submitted plans to tear down most of the 230,000-sf factory on the site for a 150-unit condominium building, says City Manager Paul Sincock.

He says the company recently earned approval for the site to be designated a brownfield, and to receive assistance from the city to cleanup the project.

“The cleanup of about $700,000 will be funded locally through tax-increment financing,” Sincock says. “They anticipate it will be completed in a rather short period of time.”
