22,098-SF Pact Shifting CBD Law Firm to Uptown

DALLAS-The Kirkpatrick & Lockhart law firm heads Uptown in April 2002 with a 10-year lease for 22,098 sf at the landmark Harwood International Center IV. Build-out starts at the first of the year on the 18th floor.

DALLAS-The Kirkpatrick & Lockhart law firm finalizes a 10-year lease for 22,098 sf at the class A Harwood International Center IV, located at 2828 N. Harwood. The high-profile tenant will relocate to Uptown April 1, 2002 from the CBD’s Bank One Center.

With the deal signed for the 18th floor at the 220,500-sf office building, it’s time to start screening general contractors for the build-out, which will begin in January 2002. Debra Lehman-Smith of Lehman-Smith McLish in Washington, DC is the law firm’s interior designer.

Robert Ikel of CB Richard Ellis’ Dallas office negotiated for the tenant. Harwood used its in-house leasing director, Jean Farris, Harwood’s leasing director, to seal the contract.
