The new store will sit atop a 20,000-sf plaza connecting 1 West St. and 2 Washington St. with entrances on Battery Place and Washington Street. The store, which sells a wide variety of prepared foods as well as groceries, will have indoor and outdoor seating.
Newark New Spectrum's Craig Slosberg acted on behalf of Amish. Ocean owner the Moynihan Group was represented by in-house broker Joshua Zamia and RIPCO Realty's Andrew Mendel.
The Moinian Group owns and operates a six-million-sf portfolio of commercial properties, luxury rentals, residential lofts, extended-stay properties throughout the US and abroad. Among its current projects are a 55-story rental property located on the site of the landmark Biltmore Theater at Eighth Avenue and 47th Street and a 45-story residential building at Eighth Avenue and 54th Street.
