Downtown Harley Davidson Relocates to Harbor Steps

SEATTLE-The new store at Harbor Steps replaces a Harley-Davidson store located for the past six-and-a-half years at the corner of Fourth and Stewart Streets in downtown Seattle. Both operations are run by Downtown Harley-Davidson Buell, a family-owned, independent dealership.

SEATTLE-Downtown Harley-Davidson Buell is relocating its Downtown retail apparel outlet from the corner of Fourth and Stewart Streets, where it has been for more than six years, to Harbor Steps, a four-tower, retail and residential complex at 1200 Western Avenue.

The 2,052-square-foot store celebrated its grand-opening last week. Harley’s specific lease rate was not immediately available, but the official Harbor Steps Web site shows an asking rate of $23 per sf.

Downtown Harley-Davidson Buell is a family-owned, independent dealership affiliated with Milwaukee-based Harley-Davidson Motor Co. Downtown Harley spokesman Scott Cook says “the neighborhood’s high visitor foot-traffic and its central location were big factors.”
