More than 60 hotels in Mexico City will participate, offering discounts of up to 60% off regular rates. The special rates will be offered from the 16th to the 21st of November, the entire month of December and the first two weekends of January 2002.

Mexico City will be an attractive option for our North American neighbors during the upcoming vacation season, says Julieta Campos, Mexico City's Secretary of Tourism. The city offers a wide variety of cultural and entertainment sites, an enjoyable climate, close proximity and attractive discounts on area hotel rates, she adds.

In the face of increased competition and a slowdown in travel, Orange County hoteliers continue to slash rates here.
