The developer has announced that Yale/Chase Materials Handling Inc., a leading forklift manufacturer, will anchor its Executive Place Business Center project with its new San Diego branch office, occupying a 20,500-sf, two-story building. The remaining building of the project at2870-2875 Executive Place, totals about 32,839 sf.
Occupancy is expected in the second quarter of next year. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Yale/Chase, headquartered in the City of Industry, CA, was founded in 1993 by Roger Ketelsleger. It also has facilities in Fontana, Orange County, Oxnard and San Diego.
The company provides complete materials handling services, including racking and warehouse layout, sweepers, scrubbers, forklifts, and all lift truck accessories. The company specializes in sales, service, parts and rentals.
Yale forklifts include Walkies, Walkie stackers and narrow aisle equipment, as well as rough terrain equipment, pallet racks and conveyor systems. Yale/Chase's customers include Coca-Cola, Ralphs Grocery, The Gap and Lowe's.
Bycor General Contractors, Inc. will manage the construction efforts for McArdle & Associates Architects design for Executive Place Business Center. K&S Engineering is responsible for the civil design. Barry Hendler and Mike Erwin of BRE Commercial/NAI's North County office willhandle the sales and leasing of the project.
