Mohawk Industries Inks $1.3-Mil, Five-Year Lease for SW Phoenix

PHOENIX-The Calhoun, GA carpet manufacturer signs a five-year lease valued at $1.3 million for a spot in the 43rd Avenue Distribution Center. Mohawk Industries will use the site to distribute its all-star lineup that includes Aladdin, Karastan and Bigelow.

PHOENIX-Mohawk Industries Inc. of Calhoun, GA has set up a distribution site in 76,282 sf in southwest Phoenix in a five-year deal that’s valued at $1.3 million.

The carpeting distribution tenant vacated a 15,000-sf nearby location for its share of the 127,042-sf building in the 43rd Avenue Distribution Center. Allen Lowe and Stein Koss, both principals at Lee & Associates in Phoenix, represented the building owner, Boston-based Cabot Industrial Trust. Lee & Associates principal Marc Pierce negotiated the lease for the tenant.
