Terms of the 15-year deal will provide EDCO USA with 10,000 sf at 611 W. 6th St., the 42-story tower best known as the former Southland headquarters of AT&T. The building is now owned by a private partnership known simply as 611 West Sixth Street Associates.

The partners hired Grubb & Ellis earlier this year to lease the space formerly anchored by AT&T, which moved out more than a year ago. The 42-story, 715,463-sf building was renamed 611 Place and the prominent AT&T signage was removed.

A Grubb & Ellis team of William H. Atha II, Timothy Macker Jr. and Joseph T. Faulkner represented the landlord in the transaction. Warren Sorgen of Helmsley-Spear Inc. represented EDCO.
