The new facility gives 25,000 sf of office, training and engineering space; 20,000 sf of shipping, receiving and warehouse space; and 60,000 sf of production space. It also has 500 parking spaces. DPT has outgrown its 51,500-sf facility at 9210 Cameron Rd. in Austin's northeast submarket. The company has 190 employees and expects to have as many as 460 in four years.

The company was lured to Round Rock, in part, by an incentive program in which the city of Round Rock will pay $600 for every employee that DPT hires in excess of 200.DPT is the US subsidiary of Display Product Technologies Ltd., based in East Kilbride, Scotland. The company, which has about 450 employees worldwide, also has operations in California, Taiwan and Ireland.

Crystal Park is a 515,000-sf office and industrial park off Interstate 35. DPT will set up shop in building D in the project's 240,000-sf second phase, which delivers in December. Crystal Park's fully leased first phase contains 283,317 sf of industrial space in three warehouse-distribution buildings. Tenants include Trend Technologies Inc. and Ryder Integrated Logistics.
