The vast retail space sits on 13 acres and covers a 3-block area. Market Common will be home to such establishments as furniture and housewares store Crate & Barrel, which has a 30-year lease on a 36,600-sf space. Other retailers include Barnes & Noble, Williams-Sonoma, Jos. A. Bank Clothiers, and Pottery Barn. The complex also includes a residential community of 87 townhouses and 300 apartments.

Speaking to the press about the project last year, McCaffery Property Manager Eithne Richardson explains that McCaffery believes in "classic retail that allows the unique characteristics and individuality of each retailer to be expressed in its street-level facade; no two are alike so they shouldn't be forced to look alike." The ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 8:30 am.
