The mixed-use facility is located at 210 Birch St. It is the only Birch Street Promenade building that includes office space. Tenants here include Ann Taylor, Gaucho Grill, Century 21 and USC Laser Eye Center.
The 400,000-sf Birch Street Promenade is anchored by Edwards Theatres, Ann Taylor, Old Navy, Tower Records and Eddie Bauer. The complex is run by the Birch Street Promenade Owners Association. "The developers wanted to diversify the ownership of the Birch Street Promenade in order to bring new and different ideas to the association," says Nicholas Coo, a Faris Lee Investments broker who worked on the transaction.
Coo, along with Carlos Lopez, also of Faris Lee, spoke for the seller CIM Brea Inc. The buyer, D.L. Long, was represented by Rich Heine of Peninsula Real Estate Brokerage.
