EraGen is expanding facilities to further develop its discovery and therapeutic research in nucleic acid as well as bioinformatics technology. The new space, located in the new Biotechnology Center built by the Gialamas Co. in Old Sauk Trails, offers state-of-the-art nucleic acid facilities including a discovery research laboratory, organic chemistrysynthesis, molecular recognition using advanced robotics and optical technologies, GMP & ISO manufacturing and handling of biohazardous material.

The new building also offers a world-class bioinformatics facility to greatly increase the data processing speeds.

"The additional space will allow EraGen to continue its rapid growth in the discovery marketplace and maintain its excellence in cutting-edge technology," says Dr. Gary A. Alianell, EraGen's chief operating officer.
