Eventually, however, it is large enough to accommodate 250.
The customer service center is part of a 1.6-million sf corporate campus being developed by the Etkin Johnson Group of Denver. Etkin Johnson is one of the largest-privately held commercial real estate investment and development companies in Denver.
Logicon will use the center as part of its remote customer support network. This work includes dispatch, help desk, monitoring, and tier 3 hardware and software technical support.
''Logicon's commercial IT business has been growing at a double-digit pace and now exceeds $155 million in annual sales,'' says Herb Anderson, Logicon's president and chief executive officer. "The opening of this advanced facility is further evidence of our commitment to the commercial market."
The center handles more than 35,000 customer calls per month. At full capacity, it can handle more than 100,000 calls monthly.
In addition to its commercial business, Logicon, a $4-billion sector of Northrop Grumman, is a leading provider of IT services to the federal government. Some of this work, primarily with the Department of Defense, is performed in Colorado where Logicon has more than 600 employees statewide.
The campus plan includes an on-site fitness center and state-of-the-art infrastructure, including fiber-optic capabilities for advanced computing, teleconferencing and video conferencing.
