CHICAGO-The 1.5-million-sf Citicorp Center, a mixed-use office tower rising 42 stories above a Metra commuter station that is the terminal for three heavily-used rail lines, is under new management. MB Beitler is now in charge of managing and leasing the property designed by the architectural firm of Murphy/Jahn, which also includes 45 retail shops and restaurants on the first two floors.
MB Beitler takes over from Jones Lang LaSalle, whose management team won a 1999-2000 TOBY award from the Building Owners and Managers Association of Chicago for its operation of 135 S. LaSalle St. as well as Citicorp Center, where an estimated 94,000 commuters pass through every work day.
