Diplomat Mall Sells for $19.1 Mil

MIAMI-Hasam Realty Ltd. has sold the Diplomat Mall in suburban Hallandale Beach to 17070 Collins Avenue Shopping Center Ltd. and R.K. Hallandale Ltd. for $19.1 million.

MIAMI-R.K. Hallandale Ltd. and 17070 Collins Avenue Shopping Center Ltd., headed by Raanan Katz, have purchased the Diplomat Mall in suburban Hallandale Beach for $19.1 million.

The mall, located at 1725 E. Hallandale Beach Blvd., contains approximately 350,000 sf of building area completed in 1971 and renovated in 1998-1999 on 28 acres. Anchor tenants include Winn-Dixie, Old Time Pottery (formerly Kmart), Office Max and Beall’s Outlet. The buyers plan to rehabilitate and revitalize the mall.
