Lands' End Opens Sales, Distribution Center

STEVENS POINT, WI-The 200,000-sf, $11-million building in the Portage County Business Park here was designed by Martinson Architects and built be Westra Construction. It will house phone sales, embroidery and distribution functions.

STEVENS POINT, WI-Lands’ End Inc. recently opened a new 200,000-sf, $11-million facility here. The facility houses the Dodgeville, WI-based direct marketing company’s second corporate sales phone center, embroidery and distribution facility and Lands’ End’s fourth consumer phone center.

Martinson Architects, Inc. of Green Bay, WI, designed the building and Westra Construction of Waupun, WI constructed the facility.

Located on about 70 acres in the Portage County Business Park on Interstate 39, the facility contains a warehouse, production space, distribution area to handle corporate sales orders, two phone centers — one for corporate sales orders and one for Lands’ Endconsumer calls — a logo design area and management offices. Employee amenities include an exercise room with shower facilities and a contemporary employee lunchroom.
