Planet Beach plans to develop 10 to 15 more locations in Austin over the next three to four years, Johnny Cram, a broker in Austin office of United Commercial Realty, tells GlobeSt.com. He represented Planet Beach in the lease negotiations with Trammell Crow Co.
The Shops at Lakeline, a 87,000-sf center on about 14 acres on the northwest corner of Lakeline Boulevard and Cypress Creek Road, is 100% leased, says Harry Scott, a broker in Trammell Crow's Austin office. The Randall's grocery, the center's 67,000-sf anchor tenant, opens in mid-December. Pad sites are occupied by a Randall's gas station, McDonald's, Kentucky Fried Chicken and a bank that's under contract.
Planet Beach operates in Louisiana, Alabama, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas and in Canada. The company has or plans to open 30 salons in Texas.
