The Family Giving Tree, a nonprofit organization that gives gifts to less fortunate Bay Area children, will take over the company's first and second floors of a four-story building that is currently under construction. The space is about half the size of the San Jose McEnery Convention Center.

Juniper will not charge the nonprofit organization rent, and has given permission for it to occupy the space temporarily until the building is near completion, and ready for occupancy. This may be sometime in 2002.Employees of Juniper are being encouraged to donate time and gifts to the organization.
