The building stands at 12230 Florence Ave., a few miles east of Downtown LA. It is one of two structures on the site that Newport Beach-based Clark Management and Development began building in the spring.
The buyer is the Mohmmad and Nasima Karim Living Trust. The trust will use the recently completed space to expand its vitamin-manufacturing business, NHK Laboratories.
The property was sold by CMD Florence Avenue Partners LLC, a partnership that was created by builder Clark Management and Development. Steve Sprenger, L.R. Sanders and John Hollingsworth of Grubb & Ellis represented the seller in the transaction, while Jim McFadden of Grubb Ellis spoke for the buyer.
