800 Brazos Tenant Renews Lease For 13,003 SF

AUSTIN-HBF Group Inc. signs for another five years and takes right of first refusal for another floor of space in Shidler Group's building, one of four it bought in the Central Business District earlier this year.

AUSTIN-HBF Group Inc. has renewed its lease for 13,003-sf at 800 Brazos in Austin’s Central Business District and it may take more. Brigham Black, the leasing director of building owner Shidler Group, tells GlobeSt.com the Austin-based company has taken right of first refusal for the floor plate below its ninth-floor location.

HBF Group, which designs, develops and implements enhanced 911 emergency telecommunications systems, has been in the building about five years.

The 164,741-sf, 14-story 800 Brazos building is one of four Austin buildings totaling 585,000-sf that Shidler bought earlier this year. Jones Lang LaSalle manages and leases the properties. The CDB building is in the midst of a renovation inside and out.
