Pulte Homes Buys 100 Acres North of City

OAKLAND TOWNSHIP, MI-The Bloomfield Township-based developer buys land from two local developers and plans to build multifamily and single-family homes on the site in one of the five wealthiest counties in the US.

OAKLAND TOWNSHIP, MI-A new multifamily development project here will add tothe Bloomfield Hills-based Pulte Homes collection in the growing area of north Oakland County. Oakland Township is one of the most premier addresses in Oakland County, recently ranked in the top five wealthiest counties in the US.

The area is very popular for new homes, and according to the Southeast Michigan Council of Governments, has seen at least 140 new home permits pulled each year for the last eight years. Pulte, one of the largest home developers in the nation, has established afew new subdivisions in the prestigious neighborhoods.

The condominiums and single-family development in the township will be built on 100 acres of land, recently purchased by Pulte for an undisclosed amount.
