Suburb's Development Continues in Hard Times

TROY, MI-Offices, retail and industrial construction is still going strong in one of Metro Detroit's strongest commercial real estate markets. The largest project is the 275,000-sf Maple Corporate Center.

TROY, MI-The construction season is winding down here in one of the strongest markets in Southeast Michigan. Openings are pending at the first of the year in the Oakland County community.

Altair Engineering is putting the final touches on their building at the southwest corner of Big Beaver and John R. roads.

Midtown Square is fully operational with a Home Depot, Target, Farmer Jack, Dunham Sporting Goods and other stores. Fifty percent of the first phase of condominiums, a part of the project, sold out within 90 days. Of the 60 units already purchased, occupancy will begin in January and February.
