Rob Nahigian, principal of Newton, MA-based Auburndale Realty brokered for both parties in the transaction. Details of the deal were not disclosed.
Joyce Mcneil of Weyerhaeuser tells GlobeSt.com the company had outgrown the existing facility and needed to move into larger quarters.
The new location offers access to both routes 495 and 24 as well as a CSX rail facility necessary for its work. She said that the company hopes to have vacated the Walpole facility by the spring of 2002.
