She says the upgrade has been two years in the making.
''We just finished an $8.1-million room renovation, we've got a new chef, and we added a new spa,'' all which were factors in the upgrade, she says.
It's the first resort to be named as a Park Hyatt.
''It is fitting that this hotel, in the heart of the Colorado Rockies, should receive the Park Hyatt name,'' says Scott Miller, president of the Hyatt Hotels Corp ''It is everything we look for in a Park Hyatt. Its level of service is completely focused on the guests and their needs. The hotel's underrated elegance perfectly captures the spectacular natural surroundings.''
Fort Worth, TX-based Crescent Real Estate Equities Inc, owns the hotel.
