The store is located at 1595 West Highway.
"This new location is a perfect complement to the full-line stores we've opened in other majormetropolitan areas such as Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles and Kansas City," says GeorgiaShonk-Simmons, the chief executive officer for Coldwater Creek.
The lease was negotiated with the help of the retail services division of The Staubach Co., a real estate strategy and services firm based in Addison, TX. Associate Patrick Owens of Staubach's Chicago office along with vice president Adam Schiller and associate Kevin Sendrey of Staubach's Dallas office represented the retailer.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The store's interior features a signature in-store waterfall, and will be decorated with soft woods, natural stone and ambient lighting to create a relaxed tranquil setting. Shonk-Simmons says the intended effect is to have shoppers "walk right into one of our catalogs."
The firm now has 24 stores in 22 states.
