After recently leasing approximately 25,000 sf to Gold's Gym of Milford, the additional leases will leave Fafard with no vacancies in the Granite Shopping Center. In addition to the retail space, Damian Kokenen of Fafard tells Globest.com the nearby 83,273-sf building that formerly housed the Holmes Air Purifier Co. has recently been leased to S&M Moving Systems Inc., taking that building off the market.

The Holmes building had been vacant for six months when S&M took the location over. Kokenen tells Globest.com that the only available space Fafard has in the area is an eight-acre site in Ashland located next to a Shaw's Supermarket Plaza that is owned and managed by Fafard. He says that Fafard is not looking to develop that site but is instead interested in finding a buyer for the property. According to a source close to Fafard, the company is asking $3.2 million for the site and is willing to break it up into one-acre parcels.
