WALTHAM, MA-Developer Wayne S. Brasco Jr., principal of WSB Realty, has proposed to the Town of Waltham Zoning Board of Appeals a plan to demolish 11 apartment buildings to make room for 54 new townhouses with 63,000 square feet of living space.

According to published reports, the new townhouses would be offered for sale at market value. US Dept. of Housing and Urban Development representative Janet Barry tells GlobeSt.com that while she has not as yet seen the proposal or permit application, because the developer is not applying for a special permit he must present his proposal to the town’s Board of Appeals, which will then submit the project to her office for review.
