Beazer Reports Higher New Home Sales

ATLANTA-Beazer Homes USA reports new home orders for the first three weeks of November were up from November 2000. The homebuilder said it expects the trend to continue for the rest of the month.

ATLANTA-Despite what has been a sluggish economy, Beazer Homes USA reports this week that new home orders for the first three weeks of November were up from the same period a year ago. The Atlanta-based homebuilder said it is likely to continue the trend for the rest of the month.

Beazer Homes meets this week with investors. The company is expected to announce preliminary November new order figures Dec. 4.
