Gutierrez Gets Zoning Board Approval to Develop Phase I of 562-Acre Complex

BURLINGTON, MA-The Gutierrez Co., a real estate developer, construction company and real estate management company based here, has won approval from the zoning board of Northborough, MA to begin construction on the first of many parcels that the company holds in this area.

Project Manager Dan Clarey tells Globest.com that Gutierrez bought the 562-acre site last year from the Met Life Insurance Co. and plans to develop up to three million sf of office and R&D space in the Northborough area and another 800,000 sf of similar space in the Marlborough area. To date, Gutierrez has been given approval for construction of 600,000 sf in Marlboro and 95,000 SF on in Northborough. Clarey says Gutierrez is in the process of preparing its next presentation before the zoning board to get approval for more sites.
