Virtual Physical Expands Into Second Office

ROCKVILLE, MD-Pikesville, MD-based Virtual Physical– afacility that offers comprehensive high-tech scans that can detect diseases ranging from cancer to osteoporosis–is opening a second location to accommodate its growing list of patients. The new office, located across from the White Flint Mall at 11400 Rockville Pike, is 3,200 sf in size. Company officials, however, have not disclosed the terms of the lease for the space.

“The demand for full body CT [computerized tomography] scans and virtual colonoscopy has been so great, that we made the decision to open another office,” says Virtual Technology President Jonathan Hazman. The Pikesville office only opened in March of this year. “We’ve had patients from Chicago, Florida, Arizona, Germany and France. The demand is there.” Even prior to the Rockville office’s opening today, a bevy of appointments had been scheduled by individuals seeking the non-invasive, disease detecting procedure. To date, 1,000 people have been scanned.
