Welch Co. to Begin Construction of Scituate Harbor Project

SCITUATE, MA-A developer located in this seaside town 24 miles south of Boston has begun demolition work on five buildings it owns in preparation for a mixed-use redevelopment project in Scituate Harbor.

SCITUATE, MA-Merchants along the south shore of Boston looking to bring business and development back to their downtown areas are eagerly anticipating completion of a revitalization project currently under way in the Scituate Harbor business district.

Welch Co., a locally based developer, is starting construction on three new buildings totaling approximately 75,000 sf of residential, retail and office space at an estimated cost of between $15 and $20 million.
