In the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, FACES contributions totaled nearly $106,000 with 1,093 volunteers donating 2,047 hours in the program's fourth year. In Houston, more than $161,000 was collected and 444 volunteers donated 1,052 hours. In Phoenix, Crescent's Two Renaissance Square contributed in excess of $4,600 with 42 volunteers donating 97 hours for its elementary school partner. The program is built on Crescent building staffs partnering with an elementary school of choice.

"This year, we are proud to announce that Crescent has at least one FACES of Change partnership in every market in which we do business," said Kathy Rosenthal, Crescent's director of community relations. "This presents an opportunity for Crescent to give back to the communities in which we live and work...our own lives are greatly impacted by these children each time we interact with them."

Since the program's inception, FACES of Change has touched the lives of more than 20,000 children. The funds help provide books, computers, software, network cabling, playground equipment, natural habitats, outdoor classrooms, uniforms, musical instruments and staff training. In one instance, a historic one-room schoolhouse was refurbished for use as a community center.
