The Law Bulletin has published a real estate trade in one form or another since 1913 and in the 1980s its local twice-monthly commercial trade magazine was known as Metro Chicago Real Estate. The company still publishes a magazine of that name, but it is for residential real estate brokers. In the late 1990s, the Law Bulletin acquired the Minnesota Real Estate Journal, and later started the Illinois Real Estate Journal and Michigan Real Estate Journal.

According to the Law Bulletin, the magazine's editorial staff, headed by Paula Widholm, will remain unchanged.
