Southwestern Scrap Signs for 18,000 SF

HOUSTON-ProLogis finds an 18,000-sf tenant for a 40,250-sf distribution center in Houston's southeast submarket. Southwestern Scrap Materials will set up shop in a 14-year-old building with 13 loading docks.

HOUSTON-Southwestern Scrap Materials, Inc. will be moving into 18,000 sf of a 40,250-sf bulk distribution center in southeast Houston.

Caleb Lawson of Caldwell Watson Real Estate Group represented Southwestern Scrap Materials Inc. Art Barkley was the in-house representative for the building owner, ProLogis Trust. The 14-year-old South Loop Distribution Center 3 is positioned at 7350 Mykawa near Loop 610 and Interstate 45. The structure boasts 22-foot clear heights and 13 loading docks. ProLogis owns 20 other industrial facilities in the Houston area in the southeast/Loop 610, north/Loop 610, northwest/US Highway 290 and Interstate 10 West/Post Oak submarkets.
