Otis New-Construction Deals Worth More Than $100 Mil

NEW YORK CITY-The venerable vendor of vertical transportation wins contracts for six of the largest high-rise construction projects currently under development in the greater metropolitan area.

NEW YORK CITY-Otis Elevator Co. has won contracts valued at more than $100 million to install and maintain elevators at six of the largest properties currently under development.

Goldman Sachs, Bloomberg, AOL Time Warner, Westin Hotel, CIBC World Markets and the new York State Unified Court System have hired Otis to provide internal transportation systems for their new buildings. Details of the contracts include:

Goldman Sachs–The $27-million deal covers two buildings totaling 1 million sf and includes 54 elevators and four escalators. Otis has also inked a 20-year maintenance contract with the investment bank.
