The price was $5.3 million or $543,000 per acre ($12.48 per sf.) In March, the same dirt sold for $4 million or $410,256 per acre ($9.42 per sf). In 1982, the land sold for $900,000 or $92,308 per acre ($2.12 per sf).
The land is occupied by car rental offices and repair facilities used by National Car Rental Inc. The buildings total 23,868 per sf and date from 1983 when they were built for Alamo Rent-A-Car.
