Following revelation of the company's third quarter results, CEO of the consumer electronics retailer Ed McEntire speaks of Ultimate Electronics' goal to penetrate the local market. "As a result of the uncertain environment," he explains "we continue to carefully balance short-term expectations with the unprecedented long-term opportunities for continued growth." He continues, "we plan to move forward with our expansion into the Dallas/Ft. Worth market in 2002." And so they will.
The stores will be located in the following shopping complexes: Plano's Fairview Marketplace, Lewisville's Vista Ridge Square, Mesquite's The Marketplace at Towne Center, Hurst's Pipeline Village Shopping Center; Highland Shopping Center in South Arlington, Shafer Plaza in Frisco, Cedar Hill's Cedar Hill Town Square, and Ft. Worth's Ridge Rock Plaza. In addition, there will be one stand-alone store near the Dallas Galleria.
