Oakland A's Scouts for New Stadium

OAKLAND, CA-The Oakland A's is considering new stadium sites throughout Oakland and Alameda County, after negotiations with Santa Clara County fell through. The baseball team also needs a new first baseman now that MVP Jason Giambi is a New York Yankee.

OAKLAND, CA-The Oakland Athletics baseball team is studying a consultant’s report about possible new stadium sites in Alameda County.

Team owners Steve Schott and Ken Hoffman have been trying to find a new stadium for the past few years. Earlier this year, the baseball team started negotiating with the city of Santa Clara in an effort to move the A’s to Santa Clara County.

“With the available resources and desire on the part of all parties, a deal can be reached,” said A’s President Michael Crowley to the Santa Clara City Council earlier this year.
