According to the terms of the 10-year agreement, Latham & Watkins will occupy 70,000 sf in the 21-story office building. Located at 650 Town Center Dr., Center Tower is part of The Offices of South Coast Plaza, which includes about 1.4 million sf of landmark office properties.

Latham & Watkins was represented by an Insignia/ESG brokerage team consisting of Stephen L. Bay, Clay Hammerstein, Scott Gamber and Kevin Bender. John Barganski acted on behalf of the landlord, C.J. Segerstrom & Sons.

Although financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, the direct average weighted rental rate for Costa Mesa office property stood at $2.29 per sf at the start of the fourth quarter.
