In a $1.5-million deal earlier this year, the company acquired proprietary coatings distributor Infiniti Paint Co. Inc., which will be running the new distribution facility. The Deerfield Beach location is just one of several such outlets Urecoats hopes to open in major markets in the next few years.

"The Infiniti location in Orlando establishes a major market distribution channel for our product and ensures a high level of availability and service for contractors in the region," Urecoats president Timothy Kardok said in a prepared statement. He said the outlet opening keeps the firm on track with its business plan to open an Infiniti branch this month. At least 10 more Infiniti locations will follow in the next few years, he added.

Last month, the company moved its headquarters to a 7,000-sf space in the Deerfield Beach area. At that time, Kardok explained "the new location has the ability to support our future growth." The headquarters at 1239 East Newport Dr. houses Urecoat's finance, marketing, human resources, sales and customer service departments. But Urecoats is not done making news for the year just yet.
