Jerry Jacobs and Larry Downey, both senior vice presidents with Grubb & Ellis Co.'s Phoenix office, represented the building owner, Crescent Real Estate Funding II LP of Ft. Worth. Julie Schuelke of Julien J. Studley was the tenant's representative.

The signing puts the class A office building at 98.5% leased. Its amenities include retail shops, restaurants and athletic club. The 28-story, 456,373-sf building is located at 40 N. Central Ave.

The law firm also leases space in a Crescent-owned building in Miami. The firm, founded in 1890, employs 750 attorneys worldwide. It also has offices in Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Houston, Jacksonville, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Palo Alto, Phoenix, San Francisco, Tampa, Tysons Corner in Northern VA and Washington, D C. Its European offices are located in Bratislava, Brussels, Budapest, Kyiv, London, Madrid, Milan, Moscow and Prague and Asian offices in Almaty, Beijing, Hong Kong, Taipei, and Tokyo. The firm also has an association with a legal firm in Dublin.
