The buyer will start construction on a combo dialysis center-office building in early 2002. The building will total about 10,000 sf, Jim Turano of Henry S. Miller Commercial in Dallas tells GlobeSt.com. Goodwill, he says, had classified the property as "surplus" after retreating on its plan to develop the site at 203 and 207 W. Randol Mill Rd., a location relatively close to the Ballpark in Arlington and a half block from Center Street.
Turano represented the buyer and Jerry Alexander of Stoneleigh Huff Brous McDowell negotiated the sale for Goodwill Industries. The privately owned Tarrant Dialysis Center has at least four locations in Tarrant County and one near Weatherford.
