The property sold for an average of $14,000 per acre, said David O. Williams, who represented the seller for Advantis. Rick Tumlin of Advantis Real Estate Services Co. represented Atlanta-based OA Development. OA Development just completed a 96,000-sf distribution facility on Old Dixie Highway and plans to develop the Gilbert Street property.

"This site is one of the larger remaining parcels in close proximity to Hartsfield International Airport and, based on the realignment of Aviation Boulevard and Conley Road, it will have direct access into the airport and cargo loading areas," Tumlin said in a written statement.
