Smith has more than 12 years experience in retail real estate. She has participated in tenant lease negotiations with national and regional retailers. Prior to Edens & Avant, she was a leasing representative with Childress Klein Properties in Charlotte. She also has worked as regional leasing manager for Ohio-based Developers Diversified Realty Corp. and a real estate specialist for Belk Stores Services.
