For the nine months ending Oct. 31, Source reported revenue of $157.7 million in comparison to $73.4 million in the corresponding period a year ago. Net income was $6.3 million or 35 cents per share. In 2000, net income totaled $5.4 million or 29 cents per share.
Bonita Springs is located approximately 80 miles northwest of Miami, between Fort Myers and Naples. Source Interlink is constructing a new four-story, 98,000-sf corporate office building in the Riverview Corporate Center on the west side of US Highway 41 just north of the Imperial River. The company will occupy about 50,000 sf on the top two floors.
The move to Bonita Springs is planned for mid-2002. Source Interlink is expected to eventually employ 500 people, making it among the top 25 largest employers in Lee County.
Source Interlink distributes more than 6,000 magazine titles to more than 10,000 retail outlets in 68 countries. It's the world's largest designer and manufacturer of retail displays for general merchandise and publications.
